How long will it take to paint my home?

The timeline depends on the size and complexity of your project. For a whole house, it usually takes about 5-7 working days. Smaller jobs, like a single room, can often be completed in just a day.

Do you offer a warranty?

Absolutely! All our interior painting projects come with a 2-year warranty. If any issues pop up, we’ve got you covered.

Who will oversee my project?

Our experienced painters will manage your project, with our founder, Jared, keeping a close eye on everything to make sure it meets our high standards.

Do I need to prep the space beforehand?

We’ll handle most of the prep work for your indoor painting project. All we ask is that you move any small or fragile items out of the way. We’ll take care of the heavy lifting for larger furniture.

We could not be happier with the work that was performed by Jared and his paint crew. Jared was exceptionally responsive, showed up on time everyday and came prepared to get the job done. His crew was respectful of our property and took extreme care to make our home beautiful.

He was always asking if there were any missed paint spots or issues so that he could remedy them as soon as possible. I have already asked if he could return soon to quote for an interior job. Pricing was reasonable and quoting process was easy.

Highly recommend Jared and the New Direction paint crew for your next paint project! We will absolutely be working with Jared again for all our paint needs.

I would highly recommend Jared and his team. I have used them on two occasions to paint the interior on two of my homes.

Great attention to detail. They went above and beyond my expectations. Easy to communicate with and they actually showed up when they said they would!

Very satisfied with both their work and their pricing. Will be using them again in the future.

What Does Interior Painting Cost in Oak Hill, TN?

Based on our past project estimates, interior painting in Oak Hill typically runs between $5 and $7 per square foot. That means a 2,000-square-foot interior could cost anywhere from $10,000 to $14,000, depending on what’s involved.

Your project will have its own specifics that affect the final number, and the best way to get an accurate figure is to reach out with the details.

Five things that tend to move the price:

Size of the Space: More square footage means more materials and more labor hours. A two-bedroom condo and a five-bedroom home aren't priced the same, and they shouldn't be. Larger homes take longer, cost more to supply, and require more crew time.
Custom Home Features: Homes with high ceilings, intricate trim work, coffered ceilings, or detailed millwork take more time and more precision. If your home has architectural character, budget a little more for the care it deserves.
Paint and Materials: Not all paint is created equal. Premium paints cost more upfront but hold up better over time, resist scrubbing and humidity, and often require fewer coats. We'll walk you through the options so you can choose what makes sense for your home and budget.
Additional Services: If your walls need drywall repair before painting, or your ceilings have texture that needs addressing, that adds to the project scope. We handle these things in-house, which keeps the process smooth and the timeline on track.
Number of Rooms and Coats: A single accent wall is a different job than a full twelve-room interior. Same goes for coverage: some surfaces need two coats, some need three. We assess this upfront so there are no surprises.

All pricing mentioned here is based on past project estimates. Your project is unique, and so is your quote. Contact us with your specifics, and we’ll give you an accurate number.

Your Budget and Timeline, Taken Seriously

We know construction projects have a reputation for going over budget and dragging on longer than expected. That’s not how we run things.

Interior painting is one of the highest-return investments you can make in your home, both in resale value and in how you feel walking through the door every day. If a full interior repaint runs around $12,000 and you enjoy that fresh, clean home for the next ten years, you’re looking at about $3.30 a day.

We’re professionals, and professionals respect your home and your schedule. We’ll tell you when we’re starting, when we’re finishing, and we stick to that. Our crews show up on time, work clean, and leave the space tidy when they’re done. A full interior in five days isn’t a rush job; it’s an efficient one.

FAQs About Interior Painting in Oak Hill, TN

How long does interior painting take?

For a full home interior, we typically complete the job in about five days. That includes prep, painting, and cleanup. Smaller projects like a single room or a few accent walls can be done in a day or two. We’ll give you a specific timeline before we start so you can plan around it.

Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?

You don’t have to move everything out, but it helps to clear small items, decorations, and valuables from the rooms we’re working in. Our crew will move larger furniture as needed and protect floors and surfaces with drop cloths. We treat your home carefully.

What kind of paint do you use?

We work with quality interior paints that are appropriate for each surface and space. We’ll talk through the options with you during the planning stage, including sheen levels, finishes, and brands. If you have preferences or specific products in mind, let us know, and we’ll work with that.

Do you repair walls before painting?

Yes. Minor drywall repairs are part of our service. If your walls have small holes, dents, or cracks, we address those before we pick up a brush. It’s part of doing the job properly. For more extensive repairs, we’ll let you know upfront.

Just down the road, Radnor Lake State Park offers over 1,300 acres of trails, wildlife, and quiet, which is exactly the kind of setting that makes interior painting in Oak Hill, TN feel like something worth investing in. The City of Oak Hill keeps things residential and peaceful, and we think that’s worth protecting with a home that reflects it.
